Four calculators owners keep asking us about. Real ATO figures for 2026–27, every assumption on the card, nothing hidden. Change any number and it updates as you type.

01 · Company tax and owner draw

What’s left for you after company tax?

Company pays tax on the profit, then pays you a franked dividend. Here’s what lands in your pocket.

More than 80% of income passive (rent, interest, dividends)?

Figures are capped at $100,000,000 for this calculator.

That’s more than the after-tax profit, so the dividend’s been capped at what’s there.

Assumptions · FY 2026–27 · illustrative · Figures checked 8 Oct 2026

  • Resident tax rates 0 / 15 / 30 / 37 / 45% with brackets at $18,200, $45,000, $135,000 and $190,000, plus Medicare levy. No offsets or HELP.
  • Medicare levy applied flat at 2%; low-income reductions and the surcharge are not modelled.
  • Company rate 25% if it’s a base rate entity (turnover under $50,000,000 and no more than 80% passive income), otherwise 30%.
  • Dividend fully franked at the rate the company pays. In real life the franking rate is set from last year’s figures, so it can differ.
  • Doesn’t model wages vs dividends, super, payroll tax, Division 7A loans, trusts or other shareholders.

The background

“Basically, I fix problems.”

That’s Shay’s answer whenever someone asks what PRM does. It’s also the long answer, once you take the jargon out.

Once a business gets past about $10 million a year, it picks up a lot of advisers: an accountant, a lawyer, a lender, an insurance broker, a financial adviser, and the odd valuer. Each of them is good at their own job. The trouble tends to sit in the gaps between them. An email nobody answers. A loan that’s waiting on the accounts, which are waiting on the lawyer, who’s on leave.

That’s what Professional Relationship Management is for. When the phone rings with “fix this” and “fix that”, you hand it to us. We look after those relationships for you, so your advisers work together and you get one straight answer instead of five half-answers.

01

A part-time CFO

Shay works as your fractional CFO: cash flow, owner draws, conversations with the bank, big purchases, and checking the numbers say what you think they say. You get CFO thinking without paying a full-time salary.

02

One person to call

Shay keeps the accountant, lawyer, lender and adviser heading the same way, chases the loose ends, and puts the jargon back into plain English. You make one call, not five.

03

Returns done properly

Company returns are prepared by the team under Tereza Pepping and lodged through our registered tax agent, Australian Tax & Super Pty Ltd (TPB 25291395). Tereza looks after businesses under $10 million, and Shay takes $10 million and up.

PRM doesn’t give personal financial product advice. Every business is different, so what we can do for yours depends on your circumstances.

PRM Rising · For owners at roughly $500k to $2M a year

You built it yourself. You don’t have to run it alone.

Not two million yet. On the way.

Most owners at this stage are the boss, the bookkeeper and the person everyone rings when something breaks. That isn’t a sign you’re small. It usually means the business has grown faster than the back office around it.

Getting help at this point isn’t admitting anything. It’s what growing businesses tend to do once the owner’s time is worth more on the work than on the paperwork. Bring the shoebox, the overdue BAS or the spreadsheet only you understand. Nobody here will judge the state of the books. We’ve seen worse, and fixing it is the job.

PRM Rising gives you a dedicated team led by Tereza Pepping, who looks after your business return (lodged through our registered tax agent) and keeps your numbers tidy through the year. Shay oversees the work as your corporate fractional CFO, so the bigger calls (cash flow, the bank, a big purchase) still get CFO thinking.

No upsell, no talking down. The same straight answers our bigger clients get, at a size that fits where you are today. We take on a small number of new businesses each month so every one gets proper attention, which is why there’s a waitlist.

01

Your own team

Tereza’s team knows your business by name, not by file number. One place to call when something needs fixing.

02

CFO eyes on it

Shay oversees your file and steps in on the bigger calls: cash flow, the bank, and big purchases.

03

Built for the next stage

We work with you on the habits and set-up growing businesses usually need, so you’re not rebuilding everything later.

General information only. PRM doesn’t give personal financial product advice and can’t promise any particular result or growth. Every business is different, so what we can do for yours depends on your circumstances.

Fair questions

Before you get in touch.

Who actually lodges my return?

Australian Tax & Super Pty Ltd, a registered tax agent (TPB 25291395). PRM is the brand you deal with; you can check the agent on the TPB public register.

Is the first chat advice?

No. It’s to understand the business and see if we’re a fit. Any tax or financial advice comes later, once the scope and fees are agreed in writing.

What if we’re under $2 million?

We’ll be straight with you if we’re not the right fit, and point you somewhere that is. No hard feelings.

Next step

Have a yarn about the business.
